A Yahoo Game

Sent in by Gary Marsh.

"I played a chess game recently, well tonight in fact, on yahoo games.
It was a 3 0 match and I am sending in this game in because i managed to win it by less then a second, which made me laugh. I got off to a bad start but managed to comeback. Here it is . . ."

A Puzzle

Sent in by Steve Swanson.

White to move ... he has a choice of eight pawn moves and five king moves - only one wins! Which is it?

A Hertford Game

Sent in by Brian Judkins.
"The game was Hertford 2 v Stevenage with me White, and K.Maynard black, played on board 3, on the 19th October at home. Black's .....Nd7 on about move 14 was a mistake, which my next move e5 took advantage of. I had to play it immediately as he would plonk a knight on e5 given the chance. Also the move ...h6 by him on move 5 isn't good, he should develop by ...Nf6 or ..Be6. "
