If you are looking for an ANPR solution to run covertly then CitySync’s Fox in a Box is for you. The components of an intelligent system are all installed within a rugged casing which resembles a basic power supply.
Located within this is a small processor board containing a Digital Signal Processor and several other pieces of dedicated video processing hardware. The resulting board uses minimal power, runs very cool and is fast enough to process several frames as each car passes the camera at high speed, resulting in what we believe to be the most accurate intelligent ANPR system on the market.

Designed for Rapid Deployment scenarios, the Fox in a Box can be connected to any PAL ANPR camera. Hidden ANPR cameras can therefore be incorporated for covert surveillance operations.
This intelligent solution processes the ANPR images at the camera location removing the need for expensive underground cabling and installation. Instead, images are transmitted via TCP/IP over a network connection – or via the on-board 3G modem router.
The unit can buffer up to 1 GByte of event data internally for later transmission.
