What hardware do you need?

The Jet ANPR recognition engine runs on a standard Windows based PC unlike other systems which require specialist platforms and additional video processing boards.

System Configuration

A typlical ANPR system consists of:

PC running Window XP or Windows 7
JetGrabber Card
Relay Card
JetCam ANPR camera

An average system will control up to 4 lanes per PC, but the speed and behaviour of the traffic is important when designing a system. For example, traffic may be free-flowing through an exit lane from a car park at over 30mph - where as the entry lanes have barriers and vehicles will be stationary for several seconds.
