Principal Functions:
- Formulating/researching algorithms to aid the implementation of object recognition and tracking.
- Programming these algorithms in C or C++ or any other language that is easily integrated into a Visual Studio C/C++ environment.
- Integrating any new functionality into our current software suite.
Essential Requirements:
- Good experience of programming languages (especially C/C++) and source control systems;
- Strong mathematical background particularly with reference to the use of FFT s in image processing.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems (XP and above);
- Good communication skills;
- The ability to adapt to the changing needs of a project;
- The ability to work within a team environment;
- The ability to prioritise work with tight timescales;
Desirable:
- Experience in computer vision and neural networks.
- Any exposure to DSP programming.
- Any exposure to the use of FPGA boards.
- Experience of working in other operating systems, particularly Linux or other Unix variants.
