JetWatch is a watchdog-type application which runs behind JetBase Live or Review keeping them running.
If for some reason, JetLive gets closed down - whether from an operator action - or from say a power or system failure, then JetWatch will endeavour to restart all ANPR operations ensuring the minimum of downtime.
In addition, JetWatch has the ability to monitor system hardware - such as loss of video and sound alarms remotely to alert an operator.
Some of the more advanced features due for release in 2004 include the ability to monitor closely patterns of traffic from a remote site - and transmit alarms when traffic flow increases or decreases dramatically. This could draw attention to a road accident in say a tunnel or on a bridge - or in the case of say a factory gate or supermarket alert the operators of an increase of visitors so that they can respond accordingly.
