To build an ANPR System you need an ANPR Recognition Engine and some application software. The engine is the core of any system and is the component that locates a plate on a vehicle, reads it and then interprets the plate into a character string. Application software is needed to perform further actions - such as log the vehicle's presence and check against a database of known plates and perform some action.
