What Computer do you need?

The Jet ANPR recognition engine runs on a standard Windows based PC unlike other systems which require specialist platforms and additional video processing boards.

Specification

The correct PC specification is absolutely critical for high performance Jet ANPR systems.
Alternatives to the exact models detailed below may cause the system not to function correctly.

Machine considerations include:

Availability of AGP slot

Availability of PCI / Eisa slots

Minimal PCI chip set/slot distance for high speed data transfer - PCI slots on "riser" cards are undesirable

Operating System - Windows 2000 or XP-Pro

Compaq / Hewlett Packard and Dell - for standard high quality desktop machines - and our own 'CitySync' brand of ruggedised 'shoebox'-type and full 19" rack-mount machines for more hostile environments.
