CITYSYNC Mk III ANPR ENGINE
CitySync are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of their Mk III ANPR Engine.
It comes loaded with lots of new features that will allow CitySync to maintain its position as 'Best of Breed' and the first choice for Police, Security, Parking and Traffic customers.
This latest version will also feature in CitySync's exciting new range of Hand Held Computers and Mobile
Phone ANPR systems shortly to be launched. (CitySync holds the Patent for Hand-Held ANPR).
The key features include the ability to read a wider range of challenging plates especially when used with
colour cameras in Police Mobile applications or with Town Centre CCTV systems.
The main highlights are:
- Improved recognition accuracy
- Reading of white plates on white vehicles
- White or silver fonts on black plates
- Reading of high-resolution Images up to 4k x 4k
- Ability to read a wider range of fonts
- Selectable sensitivity for variable conditions or plate types
- Copes better with unevenly lit plates
- Different settings for different lanes e.g. with different lighting conditions
- Plate lengths from 3 to 11 characters
- Saving of individual user setting parameters
- Adaptive intelligent camera controls (auto adjusts cameras in real-time)
CitySync owns all of its IPR (intellectual property rights) in recognition, application and networked
systems software and our development team are all UK based (we employ three full-time
software engineers working on recognition alone).
This makes CitySync fairly unique among ANPR providers as we are fully responsible for all of our software
development and support in-house.
