Supermarket Disabled Parking

Many supermarkets have problems with able-bodied drivers using spaces allocated for the disabled.  We have recently installed an ANPR system at a large supermarket chain where the disabled car parking spaces have been sectioned into an area with a barrier controlled entrance and exit.  The supermarket holds a database of any disabled driver wishing to use the store. When a driver approaches the number plate is read by the Jet ANPR system and if the driver has registered their vehicle with the supermarket then the barrier automatically raises.  They are granted automatic exit
