Ports

Various ports across Europe have been successfully running Jet ANPR systems for a number of years now, some of which are working in conjunction with under-vehicle scanning systems.   As a vehicle passes over the scanning system the Jet ANPR software is triggered to recognise the number plate of the vehicle, providing the site with a log of number plates and a matching photographic image of the underside of the vehicle.  This system was designed to identify any illegal items or persons which may be concealed under the vehicle.  JetBase Live and JetBase Review are used within most of these sites allowing users to search against vehicles which have been matched against ‘wanted’ lists.
